In this chapter we will learn to greet others. Depending on the time it will learn to say "good days", "good afternoon" or "good night". Similarly we will learn to say goodbye to a person already present when a person does not know it. Alongside each expression you'll find the pronunciation.

For greetings, we usally have two informal forms:
1- Hello o Hi (jelou o jai), cuando queremos decir Hola
2- How are you (jau ar iu), significa como estás

For greeting people based on the hour, exist three basic forms:
1- Good Morning (gud mornin): Buenos Días
2- Good Afternoon (gud afternun): Buenas Tardes
3- Good Evening (gud ifnin): Buenas Noches

To say goodbye usually we use ths forms:
1-Good Bye (gud bai): Adios
2- See you later (si yu leirer): Nos vemos luego
3- See you soon (si yu sun): Nos vemos pronto
4- Have a nice day (jav a nais dei): Que tengas un buen dia
5- Have a great time (jav a greit taim): Que te vaya bien

If we do not know a person, these are expressions that are used when we are going to meet that person:

1- What's your name (uats yur neim): Cual es tu nombre o como te llamas
2- My name is Terry (mai neim is terri): Mi nombre es Terry o me llamo Terry
3- This is my teacher, Sam (dis is mai ticher, sam): Este es mi profesor, Sam
4- Nice to meet you (nais tu mit iu): Un placer conocerte (conocerlo)
5- Nice to meet you too (nais tu mit iu tu): Igualmente

PRESENTATIONS
When we wish to present ourselfs i'ts necesary have the next structures:

-Where are you from ?
- l'm Mexican, I am from Guadalajara. My hometown is Tlaquepaque.
-Where do you live?
- I live in Tlalpan, on Sauzales Street,
that's in the Southern part of Mexico city.

Asking for information:

Also we can use questions in order to know age, size, preferences, etc:

-How old are you?(¿Qué edad tienes?)

-What's your favorite color?(¿Cuál es tu color favorito?)

-What do tou like to do on weekends?(¿Qué te gusta hacer los fines de semana?)

-What's your phone number?(¿Cuál es tu número telefónico?)

-ETC.

NOTE:

Making questions is necessary use the following words:

1- What?--¿Qué?

2-Where?--¿Dónde?

3-When?--¿Cuándo?

4-Who?--¿Quién?

5-Why?--¿Por qué?

6-Wich?--¿Cuál?

It's necessay use too (in some cases) the auxiliar "do" (despite it's a verb):

Didactic Strategies

Audtion activity:

In porpose of finding the function of talking hearing a guy trying to buy in the mexican supermarket but I really think that it could be better hearing music, watching a movie in english without subtitles or playing videogames in english, this last one cn{t be a classic teaching method but it could work.

Reading activity:

Identify key words in a text, reading texts of general character where the unidentified words must be and try to work with them.

Oral Activity:

From the text and the previous activity, find the interaccion between vocabulary and gramatic

beginng to talk, but actually each guy in the clasroom has, maybe not much, but a little quantity of english learned long the years, so it may doesn´t be so difficult to teach.

Written Activity:

Make cards with the linguistic exponents of the unit to use them like tools during the course.
